I haven't been to San angelo in years and I had to come get my iced tea cake cookies. This is one of the only things I miss about here.
My friend picked up a cake for a 20th anniversary and man not only was it pretty, it was wonderful! It was delicious and the cake was super moist! Amazing job
Best German Chocolate and Italian Cream Cakes in town! The cookie trays are both beautiful and yummy! My newest addictions are the princess squares and Texas Chews!
Love that Cowboy Up has this place now — it has changed, but for the better! All the same recipes but better service and fresher products. Everyone is friendly, attentive and it’s fun to go in here again.
We bought a Gourmet apple pie. It was still warm when I got it home. Everyone loved it. Piled high with apples and a delicious crust. We are used to a more buttery flavor than this shortening crust. But the whole family agreed we found our new favorite bakery. We also tried a few items from the markdown table. And all the treats were delicious.
Hadn’t been in since they changed owners and so glad to say this visit was worth the stop. Customer Service was great. Plus we had just bought a ready made cake and they asked if we wanted anything written on the cake so that was a pleasant surprise, never been asked that before. We will be back more often for sure.
Almost to beautiful to eat. I said. Can't wait to share and dig in. Staff very friendly and provided recommendation to keeping fresh. I've loved Halfmann's for years from wonderful to good to wonderful again.

Ordered a large cake for a special occasion with a difficult logo decoration. The cake with the design was perfect!! Everyone was amazed and the detail and perfection of the presentation. On top of looking wonderful, it was delicious! The whole experience was easy and successful! I will be glad to recommend Halfmann's to anyone! Try "em!!
Halfmann’s Cake Cottage is an absolute treasure! My wife grew up in San Angelo, and her family always got their birthday cakes made here. Now, anytime we are back in town, making a stop to load up on sweets is a non-negotiable tradition for us. You absolutely cannot go wrong with their Texas chews, petit fours, and tea cookies—they are perfection. It’s a San Angelo staple for a reason.
